Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the Expozart mobile application and platform (hereinafter "the Application" or "the Platform"), published by Gaspard Tapon. By creating an account, you accept these Terms in full and without reservation.

1. Purpose and acceptance

Expozart is a marketplace connecting artisan creators, craft market organizers, and visitors. These Terms define the conditions for accessing and using the Platform.

Use of the Application implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you disagree, you must immediately stop using the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • Exhibitor: artisan, creator, or artist using the Platform to apply for events.
  • Organizer: entity (city hall, association, professional) publishing one or more events on the Platform.
  • Visitor: public user browsing the Platform to discover artisans and events.
  • Exhibitor Pool: all active Exhibitor profiles accessible to Organizers via the Platform.
  • Match: effective connection between an Exhibitor and an Organizer, formalized by the acceptance of an application.
  • Event: craft market, fair, or exhibition published by an Organizer on the Platform.

3. Registration and user account

3.1. Account creation

Registration requires a valid email address, the choice of a role (Exhibitor, Organizer, or Visitor), and acceptance of these Terms. Users must be at least 16 years old.

3.2. Accuracy of information

The user agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Any false declaration may result in suspension or deletion of the account.

3.3. Account security

The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials. Any activity from their account is presumed to have been carried out by them.

4. Service description and pricing plans

4.1. Artisans plan (Exhibitors and Visitors)

Registration and use of the Platform are free for Exhibitors and Visitors, with no time limit and no commitment.

An optional Premium Exhibitor plan will be offered later (€4.99/month) with advanced features (featured profile, detailed statistics). Access to essential features will remain free.

4.2. Organizer plans

Organizers have three formulas to choose from:

  • Per event plan — €39/event (pay-per-use, no commitment, suited for occasional organizers).
  • Pro Monthly plan — €49/month (unlimited event publishing).
  • Pro Annual plan — €390/year (equivalent to €32.50/month; annual commitment).

4.3. Visitors

Visitor access is entirely free. No Exhibitor contact details are accessible to Visitors.

5. Off-platform contact

Using data collected on Expozart to contact Exhibitors outside the Platform (email, phone, social networks, postal mail, or any other means) without a connection having been initiated via Expozart is strictly prohibited.

Any breach of this rule results in:

  • Warning on the first occurrence.
  • Account suspension on the second occurrence.
  • Permanent exclusion and prohibition from creating a new account on the third occurrence.

Exhibitors can report any off-platform contact via the dedicated form in the Application. Reports are reviewed by our team. Account deletion does not erase reports under review.

6. Data access by account type

Access to Exhibitor data is intentionally segmented to protect their privacy and preserve fairness on the Platform. The rules below apply regardless of account type.

6.1. Always-public data

Visible to all users (Visitors, free or paying Organizers):

  • Artist or studio name
  • Main category and subcategories
  • Product photos (with Expozart watermark)
  • City (without precise address)
  • Description / biography
  • Upcoming announced markets

6.2. Enriched data (Organizer accounts only)

Visible to Organizer accounts (free, Per event, or Pro) when browsing the pool, without enabling direct contact:

  • Past markets attended
  • Average rating from previous Organizers
  • Attendance rate (past cancellations)
  • General availability

6.3. Data revealed only after a match

Visible only to a Per event or Pro Organizer after the actual acceptance of an Exhibitor's application:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Instagram and other social media links
  • Website or online shop link
  • Precise address
  • Detailed calendar availability

7. Anti-scraping and automated access

To protect Exhibitor data and ensure fair use of the Platform, the following rules apply:

  • No public API: no programmatic interface is available.
  • Browsing limit: 50 profiles per day for Visitors and free Organizers. Beyond this, access is temporarily restricted.
  • No bulk export: no CSV, Excel, or mass-download feature is offered.
  • Mandatory pagination: no bulk display of the Exhibitor pool.
  • Watermark: product photos carry a discreet Expozart watermark.
  • Throttling: any suspicious behavior (excessive consultations, automation, scraping) triggers automatic limitation.

Any attempt to circumvent these limits via script, bot, scraper, or any other automated means is strictly prohibited and results in the immediate and permanent exclusion of the account, without prejudice to legal action.

8. Public showcase opt-in

By default, Exhibitor profiles are not indexable by external search engines (Google, Bing, etc.). Only users registered on the Platform can view public profiles.

The Exhibitor can manually enable the "Public Showcase" option in account settings. Activation:

  • Authorizes profile indexing by search engines.
  • Makes the profile accessible without logging into the Platform.
  • Remains revocable at any time from the settings.

Activating the Public Showcase constitutes explicit consent within the meaning of Article 6.1.a of the GDPR.

9. Payments and billing

Payments (Per event plan, Pro Monthly plan, Pro Annual plan) are processed through the native store systems (Apple App Store, Google Play) and validated by RevenueCat. Expozart neither collects nor stores any banking data.

Invoices are available from the stores. Upon request to contact@expozart.com, a summary invoice in Expozart's name may be issued for the accounting needs of professional Organizers.

In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period (Per event plan, digital services delivered immediately).

10. Termination

10.1. Termination by the user

The user can terminate their account at any time via the Application settings. Subscription management (Pro Monthly, Pro Annual) is exclusively done via the stores (Apple App Store, Google Play). Deleting the Expozart account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.

10.2. Termination by Expozart

Expozart reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of:

  • Violation of these Terms (in particular Articles 5 and 7).
  • Fraudulent or harmful behavior toward the Platform or its users.
  • Non-payment of an active subscription.

11. Liability and limitation

Expozart is a technical intermediary. The Platform does not guarantee:

  • The effective conclusion of a match between an Exhibitor and an Organizer.
  • The quality, accuracy, or veracity of information published by users.
  • The success or profitability of a published event.

Expozart cannot be held liable for disputes between users (contractual disagreements, disputes over event terms, quality of services, etc.). Users are solely responsible for the relationships they form via the Platform.

Expozart's liability is limited, within the bounds permitted by law, to the amount paid by the user during the previous 12 months.

12. Amendments and applicable law

Expozart reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any substantial modification will be notified within the Application. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, French courts have sole jurisdiction.
